Due to how the wikia is laid out, I will be linking certain parts as I write out Eva's history and personality! I also would like to point out that the side/event stories tend to follow along with the main story. Affection stories give it's "otome" related content to the game, but his relationship with his producer, Yuzuki Asahina (the main character) is mostly neutral with improvements on their friendship and small flirts.

I★chu! tells the story of the students of Etolie Vio academy, founded and running by the Ailedore entertainment company. The school trains I-chus ("idol eggs"; idols-in-training) into full-fledged idols. Each group of students that are recruited into the school are divided into generations with first generation being seniors while the third generation are the freshmen. While becoming an idol is far from an easy road and the dark side of the business looming down on them, the students will not give up easily on achieving their dreams! The students are taught by their producer, Yuzuki Asahina, who is the female protagonist of the series.

Explaining his past late in the first season of the main story, Eva Armstrong was an abandoned child found by the principal of an institution. Eva Armstrong, in fact, is not his birth name, but a name given to him by the director of the childcare center due to having a foreign look. Eva lived at the childcare center for most of his life as a child without any adoptions and since he was different from the other children, he grew to believe he is a reborn demon king. During his middle school years, he found an abandoned baby in a basket in front of the institution that was his home. He named the baby Mio Yamanobe as they shared the same fate of being abandoned and dedicated to raising the child himself. It was a challenge, but he grew fond of Mio as his own family and worked hard to keep a steady life. Near his high school graduation and looking for a job, he met a man who is working as management in the childcare center and was offered the job to tutor his son, Ban Jumonji, in his studies. The three grown as their own family and later on, was invited to Etolie Vio academy to walk the path on becoming idols.

Eva first appears in Chapter 14 to the third generation class. He took an interest in one of the students, Fire Fenix's (F∞F) Kanata Minato, at first sight. Eva calls him the "third servant" he has been searching for, bestow him the name "Crimson Angel", and demanded to join his unit. Kanata was quickly defended by his fellow unit members, Seiya Aido and Akira Mitsurugi. Kanata reassured his friends that he will not leave and Yuzuki stepped in before the situation worsens. Eva greeted his producer and reminded her to call him by his true name. Yuzuki denied his request with ease as she's very used to his behavior. Along with the appearance of Mio Yamanobe and Ban Jumonji, Yuzuki introduced them as RE:BERSERK, one of the I-chu units of the second generation. As the third generation is preparing for a recording examination, Eva challenges that if any of the members of F∞F fail their exam, the unit will disband and Kanata will join his unit. Kanata accepts the challenge despite the worry of his friends, which pleases Eva as he wants to test the worth his juniors.

During practice with Mio and Ban, another second generation unit named Lancelot stopped by and their leader, Issei Todoroki, asks Eva for his opinions on the third generation. Eva responds by saying that he could see the weaknesses among the juniors and it would be interesting to see how they will overcome them. He also tells Issei that they are "shining" and he shouldn't fear anything, as while they are seniors to the third generation, they also have their own seniors to try to overcome with the first generation. Issei scowls and leaves the scene, which Eva tells to himself that he is surprised that Issei asked for his opinion.

The recording exam for the third generation has arrived and Eva observes the exam with the rest of the second generation. Eva praises them for being really proficient, but reminds them of their challenge. During the exam, he comments on how Yuzuki's teachings are being shown through their singing. At the end of exam, Eva gives F∞F a pass on their exam along with the other second generation leaders. During a celebration thrown by Kumakocho, the mysterious President of the school who wears a bear suit, everyone was surprised by the sudden return of Tenjyou Tenge, the unit of the first generation. Eva greets his seniors with everyone else despite the teasing treatment from Tsubaki, the leader of Tenjyou Tenge. Eva swears that he will surpass him one day.

Later on, the senior units are tasked to assist the third generation with lessons. During an autograph session, RE:BERSERK is visited by F∞F to teach them about an idol's autograph. Eva teaches Seiya about his own autograph, where he signs in red to represent writing in blood and how Sammy, his owl, add his own footprint to the autograph to add charm. Seiya grew excited and asked if Eva could look at his own autograph sometime, which the elder idol accepted. After the autograph session, Eva praises Mio and Ban that today was done well and they will do an excellent live tomorrow. Seiya asks excitedly if they could attend, which Eva turned down at first, but later on, accepted the request as Seiya praised him with compliments and won him over.

On the day of the live, F∞F was impressed on all the hard work was put into the stage. Yuzuki comments on how before she became RE:BERSERK's producer, Eva was the one who did all the work from the costumes to the stage design. While very impressed, Seiya asks Eva on how he is great at so many things even while still an I-chu. Eva explains that he has his own roots, which leads to opening up his past to Seiya and the others. While he comments on not knowing his original family or past, he also says he was a smart kid and decided to create his own story from scratch. For Eva, becoming an idol was part of his story where he creates his own world and plants his roots into his performances to tell unique stories. Mio also pointed out to F∞F that Eva never told anyone about his past before, so he believes Eva finds them worthy in his eyes and threatens that if anything should happen to hurt Eva, he will curse them.

Later on in the story, Kumakocho invites the unit leaders to a meeting along with Yuzuki. The president tells them that one group will have a shot at performing at the Music Awards for a program's ten anniversary. He also states that Yuzuki will make the decision along with warning that you can't go into the show business without making rivals. Along with the other leaders, Eva works hard to try to outshine everyone else with Mio and Ban to earn that spot. Instead of choosing one unit and with help from Seiya, Yuzuki formed all the I-chus into a twenty-nine man unit called "I☆CHU!" to perform at the Music Awards all together. Thus leads to the end of the first season of the main story.

Season two of the main story begins of rumors of underground idols rising in popularity. Eva, along with his unit, Yuzuki, and F∞F decided to attend the underground live together to investigate.

AGE: 29 (physically despite looking like he's half his age); 427 (this age is part of his persona as Bloody Master and he always refer to himself as this age. He gets offended when someone says he is 29 years old and will never tell anyone his true age usually.)
CANON POINT: Season 2: Labyrinthe, Chapter 1-3 (Just before attending the underground live of Alchemist)
PERSONALITY:

"Chunnibyou" is a Japanese slang term that usually means "Middle School Sickness" or "Eighth-Grade Syndrome". The term is defined as behaving in strange mannerisms and developing characteristics as young teenagers. Generally having arrogance and being a "know-it-all", a chunnibyou could pretend to be a delinquent, believe to have mystical powers, or follow the opposite way of popular normality in their lifestyle. While common in adolescents, the behavior can still stick through even when one reaches adulthood.

One of those cases happens to be Eva Armstrong himself.

An abandoned child believing he is a reborn demon king from Hell at the age of fourteen, Eva acts like he is a king. Feeling the differences as a child child compared to the others in the childcare center, he knew that he was a smart child and he strongly believed a part of him was special and destiny has many things stored for him. Now at twenty nine years old, Eva still holds true to those feelings as an adult. He introduces himself as "Bloody Master", a great being of 427 years old with an (contact) eye of pure gold and an eye of sky blue. He always tells people that he is 427 years old instead of twenty-nine, speaks in an elegant yet sinister manner,and even goes at far as calling his fellow unit members his "servants". Such is a case when he first appeared in the main story-line, meeting the third generation in costume and making a grand scene of himself. Even when not in costume, Eva stays true to his personality by being proud and saying things that people will find unusual such as how less frightening his small human form is compared to his "true form". No matter if he gets positive or negative reactions, Eva adores attention. It's very easy to please him by showering him with compliments and playing along with his manners such as Seiya saying he's amazing at first meeting and Eva grew fond of him right on the start. Eva has grown a habit of bestowing nicknames to people he is close to, which others can find endearing or annoying. It could be a simpler name such as "Siren", his nickname to Kokoro Hanabusa or a more unique name such as "Crimson Angel" to Kanata Minato. Eva is also has a part of him that very wise and offers words to help others in need. He assures Ban and Mio's worries when something is wrong or offers his advice when asked. However, there are times where he can be like a brat such as his attempts to make Kanata join his unit even after several rejections, but with enough pressure, Eva is one that is willing to learn from his mistakes. During his event story, Kanata tells him that he rather be a friend than a companion, which got Eva to listen to his junior's feelings and being the one to learn wise words. Instead of taking in a third servant to RE:BERSERK, he gained something powerful: a friend.

Eva holds his head up high despite being small for his age, but there are times where people can break through the shell. For starters, he gets flustered easily when people says he is 29 years old rather than 427 years old. Common examples comes from either Yuzuki or Tsubaki's teasing treatment, which leads to Eva to bark back that he should be referred by his "true age" and not his "human age". Another example of breaking out of character is that he can get surprised easily. From Seiya getting him to fall out of his chair out of surprise to accidentally eating his least favorite food hidden in rice due to a prank, Eva breaks character and overreacts while trying to collect himself back into character. Sometimes he can recover quick on the fly, especially when fans are in front of him. Other times he isolates himself from anyone else until he has regained composure.

Another example of breaking character is that romance is something that is far from his experience. While learning to make chocolates with Yuzuki, Eva tripped and made an embarrassing scene of falling over. He attempted to collect his cool as he wiped chocolate off his producer's lips and licked it, but ended up leaving the room due to the embarrassment of both falling over and making a flirty gesture. There are also times where he is quick to stop his arrogance and apologize if the other party gets very threatening. This is usually common with his interactions with Kokoro and Issei, fellow I-chus on his generation.

With the demon king character aside, Eva has shown be somewhat of a caring older figure with great life experience. He has wisdom as a father figure for raising Mio on his own and teaching Ban for several years. He stated that he knew nothing on his past and yet he still worked hard and determined to create his own world with his vivid imagination. As a senior, he assisted the younger generation of I-chus with various lessons while challenging them to achieve greatness. He understands how his juniors are working hard to surpass him as he, too, has his own seniors to overcome with Tenjyou Tenge. He may not know anything on his real name or his blood family, but he decided to keep moving forward, acknowledging that life has it's joys and sorrows. To him, he has infinite possibilities to shape his life into his fitting. Being an orphan doesn't hold him down despite it can be sad for him at times.

Overall, Eva acts like he is a powerful being trapped in a small form when really, he's just a small adult that's a bit disappointing compared to others around his age. Despite being stuck believing he's a demon king, he still has a grand view on life itself through being an abandoned child and wisdom that leads him to create his own path, his own world. His imagination may be wild with darkness and magical oddities, but he is not alone with the family he created and the friendships he formed with the other I-chus that leads up to open himself up. He may be a pathetic and pitiful adult to some people, but to himself, he's the king of his own little world.

POWERS: Despite what he says, he's actually very much a normal human being. Please do not believe him.
OTHER:

♔ He's an idol-in-training so singing, dancing, acting, and the such are things that he is highly skilled in.
♔ He has a personal hobby in ventriloquism and can use a good range of voices.
♔ He's going to go the extra mile with the magic thing and I apologize(?) in advance. He will name spells and say chants even if it's not necessary. It's not only part of his persona, but hey, it makes it more cool... To him at least.

Eternal Opera of the Moirai: The ability to summon spectral owl familiars

♔ The owl familiar is small and fits in the palm of the average hand size. They are round, orb-like owls with the appearance of dark purple flames, almost looking like fireballs from a distance. Their eye color are red, yellow, or pure black. They are fully made out of dark magic.
♔ There is a max limit of three owls that Eva can have summoned at a time. He can summon another once one has vanished on it's own or by his own command. Rapid summoning in one session can drain his energy and hurt his mind greatly with headaches.
♔ These familiars are cunning yet unpredictable therefore Eva would have harder control over all three at once compared to one at a time. Oddly, the owls work better in a team. Eva would get more control with these familiars in a group as he grows in the game.
♔ The owls can attack like a dark orb spell is fired towards someone by dive bombing towards them, but they vanish when they hit an enemy or surface. The owls can merge together during their dive for a bigger attack.
♔ The owls could also attack by flinging their "feathers" as bolts towards the enemy. The bolts range from small to medium size.
♔ Owls can stay manifested as long as Eva is within a reasonable distance. They can scout some distance away like an average size forest, but obviously not the entire world.
♔ ...Yes, he will make up a name and chant for his ability along with naming the owls. Clotho (red eyes), Lachesis (yellow eyes), and Atropos (black eyes).

PRICE:

Sammy, his pet owl. A somewhat cruel price for the cost of his ability, Sammy means a lot to Eva as a companion. The small owl is a member of RE:BERSERK and a member of Eva's family, joining together with the three idols-in-training to perform dark yet magical performances. The disappearance of Sammy will add on to his worries during his stay here.

ACCLIMATION:

3. Somewhat in the middle yet on the lower side of things. Due to his personal interests, personality as a "chuunibyou", and his idol persona, Eva is very much knowledgeable on outer world concepts such as magic, the occult, myths and folklore. While this knowledge could be beneficial in the setting, Eva is still a normal human being despite what he acts. This is also the first time he gets hand on experience with magical concepts so some views of his knowledge will need to adapt. He can take care of himself as an adult to some degree, but his size and lack of physically strength can make him suffer. He also tends to "command" or let others do his work for him and as this is a brand new place, he would need to do some things on his own to survive. Somewhat of a call back to his past as an orphan with raising a child on his own. He may know how to take care of himself as a regular human adult, but surviving in the "wild" is very much new to him.

There is also having worry about several things. Sammy being missing, Mio and Ban being alone at his home world, and the worries of his disappearance affecting several things such as RE:BERSERK's activities and growth as idols.
